In a decade I have been away
Away to search for peace
Seldom Peace I got
Peace that vanished quite soon it came
And like a tired farmer threw the hoe away
Then leaned on the tight rope
One which hang and tied woods
You mean the rope?
The rope that Mama fetches firewood with
You know tragedy it is when she finds it gone
I won’t be the sacrificial sheep
You’ll die with your cross.
Yeah, the rope
The rope which many don’t know its use
The rope which many misuse got my peace
That tight rope will bring forth my rest
I made a note
A note that bought the rope
Glimmering rays of hope
Soon the tunnel closed it’s pole
Now the rope takes away life
Creating seasonal rivers that drains tears into fears
The note will help,
A note that couldn’t purchase peace
How can it purchase hope ?
Let the rope take away my pain and drain away my tears
Let this tight rope give me peace
Tight rope give you peace ?
Oh peace, what a wonderful piece!
The only tight rope I know is the one,
That ties a cow to graze by the farm
And now the same rope
Is used to kill the future
Burying our taste of milk and meat into unknown abyss.
Tight rope curses away trouble
And breaths serenity to the cow
Nursing their wounds in the burning fire
Giving them rest from daily scorching sun
My life is shattered apart
This tight rope is only my help
To recollect my pieces together
Yes I believe
This rope got my peace
Am going for it
Going for it doesn’t mean sun will stop shinning
The same rope will suck your wealth towards the grave
Same lane will be dug by the hood to a create way
It will be of harm to mix Blood with Cement
This tight rope won’t solve my problems
The tight rope will bring sorrow to my family
This rope is another problem
Am done with this rope
This rope is full of hope
Better a cup of coffee
Than facing the sun six feet deep.
